Custom Electric Guitar Part 6 - Custom Bridge!
In this part of the series, I have made my own bridge to meet the specifications of this guitar as a premade one would have set me back around $140! It is not finished yet but structurally complete when I come to finishing off all of the guitar everything will be finish sanded so it all looks great when it comes together! At the moment I am just saving up for the parts and hardware to finish off this guitar so would really appreciate if you could donate anything no matter how big or small everything helps😊 I am also planning on running a guitar amp series-parallel to this one so let me know in the comments if you would like to see that too!

Truss rod wheel fail! (Waiting for parts!)
Просмотров 4354 года назад
Reasons why things are done in certain ways with specific techniques! little fail clip when I first made the truss rod wheel adjuster, this video is just for fun while I'm waiting on parts to finish the guitar off! thanks for keeping in touch with the series! I am also planning on running a guitar amp series-parallel to this one so let me know in the comments if you would like to see that too! ...
Custom Electric Guitar Part 5 - Body Cavity's
Просмотров 1 тыс.4 года назад
In this episode I am carving out the control cavities for the body and the pickup cavities in the body/neck they are shallow as they will contain a custom pickup so standard mounting will not be used, I have also screwed the neck in place, when I am happy everything I need to do is in place I will also glue the neck in place but it is screwed in place temporary so I can still make modifications...
Custom Electric Guitar Part 4 - Trussrod
Просмотров 8794 года назад
This video I am doing a little metalworking for my guitar and making an adjustment wheel for the trussrod I am aware that they are extremely cheap to buy but also extremely easy to make so why not save a couple quid along the way for this build! Once again it is extremely important to not use a drill press to mill as it is very dangerous and will cause damage to you or people or property around...
Custom Electric Guitar Part 3 - Neck build
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.4 года назад
Here I am making the neck for my new guitar it is made out of mahogany and runs all the way through the body but is not a true neck-through design as it only runs in a slot through the body. Once again it is extremely important to not use a drill press to mill as it is very dangerous and will cause damage to you or people or property around you! This is the third part of the series and I hope e...
Custom Electric Guitar Part 2 - Headstock
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.4 года назад
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT use a drill press in the way I am with an end mill mine has been specifically modified to allow for the axial force when pushing against the side if you try it will very likely end with the chuck flying off the morse taper and potentially hitting you or property so DO NOT replicate any of the techniques in this video it is just for entertainment and not meant to inform! Custom Electric Guitar Build Part 1 - The Body
Просмотров 6 тыс.4 года назад
In this series, I am going to be making a custom electric guitar from scratch. In this episode, I am making the body from a leftover piece of beach worksurface from when we installed our kitchen tops in our house. I am rough shaping and giving it the final shape before installing the set neck into the pocket I made where I will then do a final shaping and route out all the cavities for controls...
Homemade Jet Engine Dry Spin
Просмотров 14 тыс.5 лет назад
Spinning it up with an RC car motor the actual engine itself if surprisingly well balanced however the adapter I made to connect the shaft to the motors seems to be a little out hence the motor is vibrating this needs to be corrected and the stators need to be added before I inject fuel into it! Hopefully, I can get that done soon as now I have started uni and have a wider variety of tools and ...

Sorry, not jet engine-related!! still working on remaking the front section with stators in order to allow for enough compression so it can at least try to run! This is me and a friend mountain biking down some local trails with a pilot we just met at the top called Callum Marsh who just happened to be visiting from Australia!

Homemade Jet Engine Finale
Просмотров 173 тыс.6 лет назад
Here is the Finale of my jet engine, It has been completely built up now and unfortunately I did not have to time to film the rest of the parts but by now if you have been watching along you will have got the just of the project. This video was shot the day before I had to hand it into school and during the reassembly, I managed to mess up the alignment of the bearings hence it no longer spins ...
Homemade Axial Jet Engine Part11- Compressor Assembly
Просмотров 205 тыс.6 лет назад
Here is how I assembled the compressor together for the cold section. As soon as I make and install the stator vanes the cold section will be complete. The fith stage of the compressor was made off camera as I was not entirely sure at first how to make it and I dint know if it was going to break luckily it all worked out. The idea of 35 blades deserves credit to a guy on facebook who knows more...

Homemade Axial Jet Engine Part1 - Aerocone
Just started watching this. And I'm enjoying it
It is so cool 😮
It is so cool 😮
Funniest thing I've watched in a good minute mate... earned a sub! I got to drive an engine around the train yard for which my mom's friend worked at ~3 in the morning when I was like.... 6(?) years old!!! How many people can say they've engineered (ya know.. other than legitimate RR engineers) but especially that young?! Never once met another kid in any of my school years who got to do that... and believe me, I ASKED.. everyone.. I'm sure that didn't contribute to my aloofness at all!
Did you ever get it to work ?
Super cool stuff! Axial compressor design is tricky stuff, especially at small scale since the specific speed of the spool is very high. For engines of this scale a centrifugal compressor is going to be way more effective and efficient. I wanted to build an axial compressor for microturbines one time, but I realized after doing the math that it wasn’t feasible for anything other than for fun since centrifugal performed so much better. If you want to get more performance than a centrifugal can provide, just add two! You could get up to 12:1 pressure ratios with sequential centrifugal compressors and a single stage axial turbine. Anyways good luck on this project, axial flow turbo machinery is fascinating.
What do you do to curb vibrations
looks better then the one I made
What are all your measurements for each peice please
where did you get those templates
Does it actually run on fuel correctly
Bro does it works upload thi video please
I'm thinking of building a really small one with the diameter of the outer case being like 3 cm, are soda cans thick enough to make the compressor blades? sorry for my ignorance xD
also i'm referring to the front part of the case where the compressor blades will be, sorry xD
Hey, very unqualified jet engine enthusiast here, and with the thickness of soda cans, I highly doubt they’ll work past a few thousand rpm
Good on you matey. I love seeing this sort of getting among it attitude and you have probably learnt a bunch of valuable lessons in the whole project. Good for you.
I absolutely love your little lathe! that is beautiful.
I really want to try this when I get tools but it looks hard
I was look to see it running
And please can I speak with,, did you have email
Please how do I get that iron carving machine
LOADS OF MISTAKES
I"like this one,this is true totorial,,utube?,step,one by,one"how to make torvine,,engine,
Hardwork
What is this a joke??
Nixt this sir, episod, how this try this vibeo sir?i"really to see, this, expirmintal,,torvo, jet, expirmimtal!!!
Nice build 😇😃👍
i can watch your vids soooo looonnnnggggggg
your project is cool as fuck
Hello Michael i got a question to build someting. what if you buil a mini jet engine. I am also trying to build 1. But you can really help me with building because i also dont have all the sprecial tools so if you want to please try to build 1 or please reply.
I guess it never ran. No video of it running 😪😪😪
Is that aluminum?
Very Nice star video send oke
Music is ridiculous Good job otherwise..
8:30 song please
Nice work, try to make stator with fins too and it will excellent
What is the metal material used?
Aluminum
Hellow to I receive part one 2 3 4 please help me
Great job man!
you chould try using slits instead of hole as i think you would get better compression than the holes with slits.
Proof that not everybody can write interesting music
is there any test run for your axial compressor?
Never going to work. If it did it would shake itself apart unbalanced
Jet cyclo copter
F**k engine ain't runnin bro. 😠
Where did you get the turbines/did you make them if you mad them I would pay you for some
fail
Hello, good afternoon, thanks for the useful video, I understand the beauty of engine construction because I study aerospace engineering myself. Could you please tell me where I can find the technical drawings for this? I would be very grateful if you could somehow send me. Regards
Hi. Unfortunately jet engine in this video doesn't look like it will run because of how the compressor is built. Check out "praendy" or "Игорь Негода" youtube channels. They make jet engines that can run well. Also, read "model jet engines" by thomas kamps. It tells you how to design a functioning jet engine at home. It also includes plans for a jet engine called the KJ66. Good luck in aerospace engineering! I am also studying aerospace engineering.
would you be willing to sell me a copy of the prints to me?i have cd and the cd does not make it clear but the one im looking at is real clear.so give me a reasonalble price and i will buy from you help for your collage
your dumb
as soon as those stages without the stator's i knew this was only a show piece with little to no thrust😔
Good work....the music is shit
Are you kidding? I watch you build it and your not going to show me how it works? You need one final video before submitting your work. 🤨
